The Adrenal Reset Diet

The Adrenal Reset Diet by Alan Christianson is a good book for health-conscious individuals who want to learn more about keeping their adrenals in balance and maintaining healthy diets. Though I was already familiar with some of the dietary topics discussed, I learned a lot more about soluble and insoluble fiber and omega-9 fats. Readers can evaluate Christianson’s advice on portioning carbs, proteins, and other types of foods, and decide whether or not they think this diet is a good fit for them.

I liked how the book gave good, clear examples of things that people should eat on this diet. The Adrenal Reset Diet specifically lists ideal foods to eat, such as when Christianson gives readers a lengthy list of protein-rich foods, ranging from cod to lamb chop to trout. On one page, Christianson gives examples showing how many servings of protein, fat, and carbs people should eat for each meal. For individuals looking for a mapped-out diet book, The Adrenal Reset Diet may be a nice fit.

If you are worried about your adrenal health – or simply just curious about different diets or making lifestyle changes – this is a good book to pick up. Even if you choose not to follow this diet, you will most likely finish the book knowing more about your adrenals than before.

I received a free copy of The Adrenal Reset Diet from Blogging for Books in exchange for an honest review.
