I adored the book You’re Loved No Matter What by Holley Gerth. It’s a very encouraging book, and it reminds people of their inherent sense of value. Gerth’s sections on love, fear, guilt, and other emotions really resonated with me. I enjoyed reading her personal stories and anecdotes as she made her different points. This is a great book to deal with perfection while focusing on God’s power and love. Something that really stuck with me was when Gerth demonstrated that “we have freedom to carry less in life.” We don’t HAVE to carry a heavy load, and this book really reiterates that.
The book has a lot of Bible verses that tie into the overall material. It also functions as an interesting workbook in some parts, and I enjoyed the part about “Discovering Who We Are,” where Gerth encourages readers to circle their strengths. This book is just so upbeat and positive; if you read it, it will be a blessing, and you’re going to take some encouragement and support with you. You’re Loved No Matter What is one of those books I just want to hang on to!
I received a review copy from Revell. You can find the book here on Amazon.
