No Place to Hide

No Place to Hide by Lynette Eason follows the clever Jackie Sellers, who is determined to help clear the name of her childhood friend Ian Lockwood after he is wanted in connection with a terrorist plot. What is great about this book is that it is not only suspenseful, but written with a Christian background, making it a family-friendly read. This book exemplifies how bad things can happen in life, but we can put our faith in God. The Christian aspects of the book are not just a side element, but woven into the story. The book is fast-paced and was not predictable, so that was nice. It was interesting trying to guess what would happen next. I thought that No Place to Hide was a good length, and that adequate time was alloted to each sub-occurrence in the plot. The book is an edge-of-your-seat type story, but also enjoyable. Lynette Eason writes a lot of suspense-driven books, but she obviously knows what she’s doing. I found the characters to be interesting; it is easy to feel invested in this story. If you are looking for thrills and a lot of action, No Place to Hide is a great choice.

I received a review copy from Revell. The book is available here on Amazon.
