Greek for Everyone: Introductory Greek for Bible Study and Application by A. Chadwick Thornhill is a basic introduction to the Greek language. It’s a book for individuals who have not yet studied Greek and are looking for a beginner’s guide. Some of the book’s topics include the Greek alphabet; phrases, clauses, conjunctions; verbs and nominals; nominative, accusative, and vocative cases; genitive and dative cases; articles, pronouns, adjectives, and prepositions; indicative-mood verbs; imperative-mood verbs; subjunctive-mood verbs; infinitives; and participles.

The book mostly consists of explanatory text, so you should only get Greek for Everyone if you want to read a detailed language book written in paragraph form – not if you’re looking for a quick, workbook-style Greek book. The content is written in a way that is very easy to understand. Some of the most helpful sections include a glossary of select Greek terms, an index of Greek words, and several tables of noun and verb charts.
