Sacred Privilege: Your Life and Ministry as a Pastor’s Wife is a helpful book written by Kay Warren, who co-founded Saddleback Church with her husband Rick Warren. Not only is the book a great guide for pastor’s wives, but it also gives the general public an idea of some of the issues that pastor’s wives face.

Two of my favorite chapters were “Helping Your Children Survive and Thrive” and “Adapting to Change.” I also liked reading Kay Warren’s personal story as to how she ended up in the role of a pastor’s wife. I am sure that pastor’s wives who read this book will find the author’s message to be encouraging and supportive, as Warren clearly outlines how being a pastor’s wife is truly a sacred privilege.
