Daphne’s relationship with Captain Reynolds Macy is enjoyable to watch as it plays out, and their interactions are one of foundations that holds this great book together. Daphne Coffin is definitely a strong role model for girls, and Fisher wonderfully emphasizes the importance of faith and family.
