Powerful Moments in the Presence of God by Lorraine Marie Varela is a lovely combination of photographs, Bible devotionals, and Scripture passages. This is a wonderful devotional book, and Varela’s corresponding photographs are simply beautiful. The devotionals are very brief (many are around sixty words in the length), but each devotional sends a message of encouragement and inspiration. It is a great book to set on a coffee table, give as a gift, or read during your quiet times with God.
