Frances Evesham’s Murder at the Lighthouse is a short read written in a “cozy crime” style. I read that fans of Downton Abbey may also like Murder at the Lighthouse, which made this already-appealing book sound even more intriguing! Evesham’s story is set in the coastal resort of “Exham on the Sea,” and it was enjoyable to follow along the book’s mysterious twists and turns. The characters are unique, the dialogue flows smoothly, and Evesham employs solid description and imagery.
