In Flirtation Walk, a period novel by Siri Mitchell, Lucinda Pennyworth and Seth Westcott meet at West Point in 1855. Lucinda is the daughter of a con artist, and Seth is a man who has always gone down the straight and narrow path. Their differences – and different motives as the story progress – make the book interesting. I especially liked reading the chapters written from Lucinda’s point of view, and I enjoyed reading a book set in the world of West Point. The novel also has many humorous moments.
