Andie Mitchell’s Eating in the Middle: A Mostly Wholesome Cookbook is a delightful cookbook showcasing healthy meal choices. I received this book for review, though I recently bought Mitchell’s wonderful memoir, It Was Me All Along, a coming-of-age story which chronicles the author’s weight loss and self-discovery. I absolutely loved reading it.

Eating in the Middle has 235 pages filled with recipes and corresponding photographs. Some of the selections that really caught my eye were Chocolate Raspberry Breakfast Pudding, Morning Glory Muffins, Chicken with Sun-Dried Tomatoes & Feta, Baked Banana Bread Doughnuts, and Lemon Cream Risotto. There are recipes for every meal, and the directions are clearly detailed.

You can find Eating in the Middle here and It Was Me All Along here.
