My Little Prayers, illustrated by Diane Le Feyer, is a collection of poems, prayers, and Bible verses written by various authors, and complemented with drawings of children and families.

before You should know how small it is. (It’s 4.1 x 0.6 x 6.1 inches). You should also know how the book is set up. On the right side of each page, there is an illustration, and on the left side, there is a brief amount of text. One page, for instance, features Ephesians 6:1, whereas another page features a variation of one of my favorite childhood prayers, which starts with, “Father we thank You, for the night, And for the pleasant morning light…”

How much does it cost? It’s currently $6.02 on Amazon.

What are the illustrations like? The drawings are pretty. They remind me of Peanuts comic strip characters, but with more realism. My favorite drawing is of a little girl happily doing a cartwheel in a field.

Who would most enjoy this book?  Children ages eight and under, along with their parents.

What makes this book unique? Its small size makes it unique – and cute!

If I hadn’t received this book for review, would I have read it? If I saw this book in the library, I would have checked it out.

Am I going to keep this book on my bookshelf? Yes! I am happy to add it to my children’s book collection.
