Be Light: Shining God’s Beauty, Truth, and Hope into a Darkened World is an inspirational book by Reverend Samuel Rodriguez, President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference. Here are five thoughts I had about the book:

1. Light is a major theme, and Rodriguez shows how Jesus Christ is the Light of the World.
2. Now that I’ve read it, it’s the kind of book that I’d like to pass on to someone else.
3. I got the paperback version. Though I didn’t get the audiobook, I think I would prefer the paperback over the audiobook.
4. It’s an encouraging book.
5. I’d be interested in hearing a sermon by Rodriguez.
