If you have a hectic life and feel like you don’t have enough time for your commitments, you might want to read Susie Larson’s book Your Sacred Yes: Trading Life-Draining Obligation for Freedom, Passion, and Joy.
I was really drawn into Larson’s heartfelt writing, especially the chapter about her father’s death. I like the prayers and personal reflection questions she includes in the book. It’s easy to feel bad when we’re busy and simply don’t have enough time for everything, but this book offers good advice on how to not “say yes” to too many things in life. It’s a supportive, inspiring book, and it would probably appeal most to women. This would be a nice book to discuss in a book club or Bible study.
I received a review copy from Bethany House. You can find the book here on Amazon.
