Trial Run is a great book for fans of science fiction, and the novel delivers a very detailed plot. Locke is a creative writer, and he forms multi-faceted and well-developed characters. He is a great storyteller. The book is a lengthy one (384 pages), and Locke includes many different subplots which eventually weave themselves together. Trial Run discusses fascinating topics, including quantum computing. Combining science with imagination, this book is certainly an adventure to read.
