52 Little Lessons from A Christmas Carol by Bob Welch is a great book for fans of the acclaimed Dickens novel. The book is both encouraging and motivational. I especially liked the chapter, “Fear has a downside,” which reminds readers fear can stifle us and that we should not fear the world. (Conversely, Welch also includes the chapter, “Fear has an upside,” which shows how fear can protect us.)
The book discusses how God teaches people lessons through difficult circumstances 52 Little Lessons reminds us that bitterness is a poison, humility leads us in the right direction, and it is never too late to change. Overall, the book talks about a lot of principles related to character, love, and changing your life.
Christmas Carol fans will appreciate this book, and it can act as a companion guide to the novel. 52 Little Lessons would also make a great discussion piece for a book club or Bible study. The hardcover edition serves as a nice coffee table book, and I think it would be a wonderful Christmas gift for someone. You can find the book here on Amazon.
