I AM: 40 Reasons to Trust God

I AM: 40 Reasons to Trust God is a children’s Bible storybook written by Diane Stortz and illustrated by Diane Le Feyer. This book is awesome! Each of the Bible stories is a few pages long, and and they contain reference verses so you can look up the original Scripture sources. The author also includes “What Does It Mean?” sections that reflect on the verses and discuss their meaning.

Each of the Bible story features beautiful and colorful drawings, which really drew me into the book. The pictures capture the essence of each story, and I believe that kids will love looking at them. This would be a fun book for families to read together during devotionals, and I think that it would be enjoyed by toddlers, preschoolers, grade-school kids – and their parents!

One of my favorite stories in the book was “Sad, Then Happy,” which tells the account of Ruth and Naomi. One of the corresponding illustrations shows Ruth and Boaz, happily looking on as Naomi holds baby Obed. The cover had a sparkly surface on it, but so far, it has not shed sparkles. I previously reviewed Read and Share 5 Minute Bible Stories, which is a good book, but I like I AM: 40 Reasons to Trust God even better.

You can find I AM here on Amazon.
