The Jolly Roger Social Club: A True Story of a Killer in Paradise by Nick Foster tells the story of William Holbert, an American ex-patriot who murdered five people while living in Bocas del Toro, Panama. The true crime book covers quite a lot of information, in fine detail, not only talking about the victims and the horrific serial killer, but also the political climate of Panama. The book appears to be very well researched, and throughout the book, Foster includes the specific dates in which crucial events occurred. Foster successfully tells the facts of the story without sensationalizing the crimes.
