The chapter that I liked the most was “Christians are Designed to Become Stronger in Suffering,” especially the part that talks about how Christianity is not an escape from suffering. I also enjoyed the chapter “Christians Don’t Need the Ten Commandments,” in which Maulding astutely points out that freedom from the law is not “hyper grace” and does not give someone a license to sin. God’s Best-Kept Secret is a book that makes you think about specific issues related to Christianity – and reflect on why you believe what you believe.
