In Chip Ingram’s book Why I Believe: Straight Answers to Honest Questions About God, the Bible, and Christianity, the author discusses why he believes in the God of the Bible. I had enjoyed reading Ingram’s recent book The Real God, so I was looking forward to Why I Believe – and it did not disappoint.

The content covers a wide array of topics, such as why Ingram believes in God’s Creation of the world, and why he believes in the Resurrection. The chapter that I found most interesting was “Did Jesus Really Die?”, which examines historical evidence relating to Jesus’ death and burial. Why I Believe would be an informative tool to those who are planning on witnessing to non-believers.
